Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture –the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.
The Manager will be responsible for managing client dedicated team providing a full scope of Commercial Real Estate Finance and Accounting services including:
Design a solution to execute a finance and accounting project
Create a project plan to transition and deliver the services
Serve as an account manager and a point of client escalation
Communicate with the Accenture Client Lead on account performance
Assume primary responsibility for client satisfaction of the real estate finance and accounting teams
Assume responsibility for timeliness and accuracy of deliverables and clients reporting
Document and share best practices in real estate finance and accounting area
Participate in efforts to document and strengthen internal controls, processes and improve data quality
Ensure account teams are complying with internal controls and compliance steps, ensuring immediate mediation of errors and putting performance plans in place as necessary
Participate in RFP process and prospective client presentation
Grow new and current accounts, including expansion of services, process improvements.
Structure and negotiate a service contract with a client
Assume responsibility for financial contract performance
Minimum 10 years of real estate finance and accounting engagements experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, or Real Estate is required, but possessing an MBA is an added advantage.
Strong financial/analytical skills
Independent worker and team player
Subject-matter expert of Investment Management Accounting and/or Fund Management Accounting including understanding of strategy of funds, # of investments within the funds, type of real estate investments being supported, etc.
Experience with Yardi Investment Management Suite
Accounting: Concept of Accruals; Actual Financial Analysis / review
Financial Planning & Analysis including review of Alternative Property & Fund Financial Statements, NAV reviews, Investor activity - Fund Capital calls, Distributions and quarterly statements and other Reporting activities (Investor/Regulatory/Internal)
Ability to interpret commercial lease language
Ability to develop business relationships with customers
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Superior attention to detail
Ability to process work quickly, accurately and with changing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
Advanced knowledge of real estate accounting practices
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $114,300 - $142,099 and information on benefits offered is here.
