You lead the charge to work with business stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how data can be used. What sets you apart? The work:

  • Identifying and solving complex supply chain, business operation, and strategic problems for clients

  • Managing a multi-disciplined project team with responsibility to provide client deliverables on time and on budget

  • Making sure that various workstreams within the project remain aligned, collaborative and on track.

  • Applying descriptive analytics to explain what happened; diagnostic analytics to describe why something happened; predictive analytics to forecast what will happen; and prescriptive analytics to recommend potential courses of action

  • Reviewing data analysis efforts performed by team members to ensure accuracy and client relevancy while contextualizing findings in a way that speaks to specific client business needs and strategic goals

  • Leading workshops that bring out creativity and innovation to solve client problems in a way that is mindful of the user experience and customer satisfaction

  • Effectively communicating findings, recommendations, and potential courses of action to internal account leadership and clients

  • Using an entrepreneurial and curious mindset to contribute new ideas and solutions that address new client challenges and pain points while expanding project team and account growth

  • Cultivating talent within Supply Chain & Operations and AFS by actively participating in recruiting, training, and mentoring people


Here's what you need:

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Data Analytics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering

6+ years of experience analyzing data and using statistical/analytical models to drive improvements to business operations – Master’s degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Operational Analytics,

  • Supply Chain

  • Intelligent & Automated Operations

  • Supply Chain Optimization

  • Supply Chain Modeling

  • Process Improvement

Experience with at least one of the following two:

  • Leading an analytics team responsible for driving data driven solutions utilizing statistical modeling and research to solve complex problems

  • Using programing languages like SQL, Python, or R to script and analyze data

Experience with at least one of the following two:

  • Using optimization models, statistical analysis, simulation, or digital twins to represent and assess complex business operations, networks, and supply chains

  • Using data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik to present information and tell a story with the data

Experience with at least one of the following two:

  • Presenting complex information in a simple way and relating it to internal and external client needs

  • Managing a team to successfully complete deliverables on time and on budget


Bonus points:

An active security clearance

Experience working in or with federal, state, or local government

Important Information:

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $103,800 – $142,799 and information on benefits offered is here.
