Microsoft Data Engineering Technical Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Seattle, WA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Microsoft Data Engineering Technical Application Development Manager in Seattle, WA to analyze business user need and create automation solutions. S/he will perform the following duties: plan development activities, assign task, track and monitor progress of development in line with timing and milestones; set and implement processes, coding standards, security processes, design models; conduct performance management, review team goals, provide feedback; manage stakeholders, including customer business and IT team, understand their expectations, review deliverables with them and secure sign-offs; review technical architecture, ensure design practices are followed and implemented; partner with testing team to ensure application/components are fully functional; build and leverage reusable code libraries for future use; oversee defect fixes or performance problems discovered in testing; oversee the project demands and ensuring evaluation and fulfillment of right candidates; overseeing the performance of the team-members including hiring and firing responsibility; bring in the right expertise and skills required to help the client and project as needed.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Developer/Engineer, IT Project Manager, or in closely related IT positions, including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in overseeing applications/projects, including project financials and project budget; 3 years of experience in overseeing project development lifecycle starting from initiation, planning through closure; 3 years of experience working in at least one of these automation tools – Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Ui Path, Microsoft Automation tools; 5 years of experience utilizing Microsoft technologies including 3 or more of the following tools: .Net, SQL Server, SSIS/SSRS, SharePoint, Azure, and Angular; 5 years of experience using at least one of the following tools: VSTS, TFS, Git, Azure Service Fabric Tools; 3 years of experience with testing as well as manual and automation using automation tools.
