Overview of North America (NA) Marketing + Communications (M+C)

The North America Marketing + Communications team shapes and activates marketing and communications strategies across the marketing lifecycle that fuel growth for Accenture’s $20B+ North American market (United States and Canada). Its cross-functional team drives category brand positioning in the North American market, curates end-to-end client experiences to drive the local growth agenda, empowers and positions Accenture’s leaders, and engages and inspires the company’s North American people, recruits and alumni. It positions Accenture in the heart of local innovation, business and technology communities and champions programs for equality, inclusion and diversity within Accenture North America and the communities it serves 

Corporate Functions – Marketing + Communications

As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

Your Role

The North America Marketing + Communications Strategy & Campaigns Specialist is responsible for co-creating and executing “One Accenture” go-to-market strategies. These strategies are designed to build client relationships and grow the pipeline via multi-service, integrated marketing campaigns, focused on one or more of our NA growth priorities.  

Key Responsibilities

Bring creative, innovative, and fresh perspective to driving memorable client experiences to advance our priority sales and marketing campaign objectives related to one or more growth priority.

Partner with the NA M+C Client Imperative Hub Lead(s) to build an integrated marketing and communications campaign strategy and plan (for internal stakeholders and clients/prospects) aligned to the growth priorities. Execute and continually refine the NA campaign plans, leveraging the global activation plans, to bring compelling stories and experiences to clients across North America at a cross-industry or industry level.

Own the project management of campaign activations (events, sponsorships, social media, internal sales enablement, etc.), including measurement and optimization plans, communications, stakeholder management, agency relationships, etc.

Partner with internal and/or external agencies and contractors on asset development and asset management activities.

Gather information from across various sources (marketing tech stack, campaign plans, event calendars, emails, meetings) and organize into a coherent, consistent fashion. Attend and lead key marketing and business calls related to the growth priorities; take and distribute notes/action items to track progress and adhere to deadlines.

Help manage the NA growth priority budget and work with marketing finance leads to track, consolidate, and reconcile spend.

Contribute to metrics and measurement across the growth priorities.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of marketing experience or related field

  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • B2B professional services marketing

Professional Skills:

  • Think strategically and innovatively

  • Analyze data and translate findings into meaningful action

  • Lead through ambiguity

  • Be proactive and execute with little oversight

  • Communicate effectively and efficiently (verbal and written) across multiple communication channels

  • Work across complex organizations and marketing internally and externally

  • Manage large multi-client experiences

  • Take an idea from pilot to scale

  • Maintain an executive presence with senior level executives

  • Manage multiple priorities and quick-turn expectations while delivering results

  • Be detail-oriented and produce high quality deliverables

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $56,484 - $129,800 and information on benefits offered is here.
