A Jr. IT Support Technician who will provide technical support to Accenture Federal Services (AFS) people in the Arlington, VA office, as well as remote support around the US, to ensure that IT services are delivered to meet business needs
Receives and responds to customer issues and requests while working in a team environment, following established procedures, and updating relevant systems as appropriate
Exhibits proficient technical skills and excellent customer service
Completes hardware upgrades and repairs, troubleshoots software, and completes other technical and non-technical tasks as necessary
Primary owner of the Termination process for the Arlington office
Work closely with the Process lead to ensure all terminations are processed in a timely manner
Perform follow up and escalations as needed
Works on special projects as needed
Hours are 8 AM-5 PM, Monday-Friday, in the office, with infrequent overtime
Hours are not flexible
Occasional travel to other offices may be required
Here's what you need:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
6 months hands on experience supporting/troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365
6 months hands on experience upgrading and repairing hardware
6 months hands on experience troubleshooting software
Experience providing excellent customer service
Other required skills
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Good organization, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail
Good communication (oral and written) skills
Bonus points if you have:
CompTIA A+ certification
Microsoft Desktop certification(s)
Mobile device (Android, iOS) support
Experience repairing Dell laptops
Experience with Mac
Previous work on US Federal engagements
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $39,800 - $57,499 and information on benefits offered is here.
