Application Development Specialist (Accenture LLP; Irving, TX): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Specialist in Irving, TX to develop and execute activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment. S/he will perform the following duties: analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations; monitor, oversee and report on execution of deliverables; develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs; analyze user needs and develop software solutions; test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems; troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning; design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency; analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; analyze the business processes for Accenture or our clients’ program/project specifications and objectives for sales, marketing and customer relationship administration solution; define technical design documents for the given functional requirements, workflows, business rules, user interfaces, reports and integration to various related system; lead the team and implement the solution to meet the business requirements; review the deliverables and ensure that the deliverables meet Accenture or the clients’ quality standards; track deliverables and impediments impacting team members deliverables; status reporting and co-ordination to Accenture and Client Supervisor; support Testing team during the Product Testing phase by triaging and resolving identified issues; work with Business Stakeholders for User Acceptance Testing; create Change Plan and executes Production Deployment; and help client with maintaining the system as well as any feature enhancements.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or a closely related field. This position also requires 4 years of experience as an Application Development Specialist, Software Engineer, or in a related IT position, including the following experience: 4 years of experience in Salesforce Customer Relationship administration and development with Salesforce 3rd party applications; 3 years of experience creating and configuring roles and profiles to implement Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication with SSO providers; 3 years of experience overseeing Salesforce Sandboxes and refresh activities using Salesforce Classic and Salesforce Lightning Administration user interfaces; and 3 years of experience in application development building portal and sites leveraging SOQL Queries, Apex and Visualforce Development.
