Azure Database Admin Associate Manager (Accenture LLP; Minneapolis, MN): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Azure Database Admin Associate Manager in Minneapolis, MN to lead a Global team to complete all client work requests related to Microsoft SQL Server Platform according to Service Level Agreement. S/he will perform the following duties: provide detailed technical training, mentorship, peer review, and/or guidance to team members; serve as subject matter expert (SME), deploy and maintain Enterprise level Microsoft SQL Server database technologies including MS SQL Clusters and Always On Failover Cluster Instances (FCI); triage Incident tickets related to Microsoft SQL Server Platform according to criticality and priority, and resolve or assign and follow up them with team members; coordinate change implementation and lead multi-discipline teams according to Client Specific procedures; install, upgrade and administer SQL Server databases, Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), and Analysis Services (SSAS); provide support to Microsoft SQL Server Platform in complaint with NERC CIP Operational Technology ;when performance issues arise, determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changes; evaluate, implement and maintain Microsoft technology, security updates, hot fixes, upgrades and version releases to ensure architecture stability; participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for database support; monitor and manage database growth and size requirements; create / retire / refresh production and non-production databases ; analyze and migrate the infrastructure from On-premise to Azure cloud infrastructure; and provide database support to clients internal application teams and provides support to engineering team.

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any) or in a closely related field plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Database Admin Associate Manager, Database Administrator Team Lead, Analyst, or in a related IT position including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery Environments; 5 years of Transact-SQL development experience; 5 years of experience in developing Automation PowerShell Scripting; 1 years of experience working in Microsoft Azure SQL and the Azure Platform; 5 years of experience developing Extract Transformation Load (ETL) solutions using Microsoft Data Transformation Services (DTS) and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); 3 years of experience designing and supporting SQL Server replication, SQL Server availability groups and Idera SQL Diagnostic Management suite; 3 years of experience developing web, database and script based applications with Microsoft Visual Basic, ASP.NET, PHP and Microsoft Powershell.

Telecommuting is permitted for this role. Employee needs to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
