You Are:

Act as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile Methodology. Is also a custodian for the Agile process and ensures all scrum processes are used as intended. Candidate must have demonstrated facilitation/participation experience with agile processes and ceremonies on an actual project/program engagement (includes daily stand-up meetings, planning and review sessions, sprint 0 sessions, retrospectives, and backlog refinement meetings).  Understands the servant leader role of the scrum master and how to coach, support and guide a self-organizing, cross-functional team.  Hands-on experience supporting a product from a development effort though a production release.  Exhibits an agile “mindset” including the need to proactively seek opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes.  Familiarity with Sprint 0 work related to initiating a product backlog.  Able to grasp product scope, analyze requirements, and assist with story creation and elaboration to include creating detailed acceptance criteria.  Understands agile estimation techniques, as well as how to prioritize tasks and mitigate road blocks     

The work:

  • Protects the team, removes barriers to successful implementation, and keeps them focused on the task at hand.

  • Helps the Product Owner maximize productivity.

  • Maintain the backlog and release plans, publish reports to ensure the product owner is updated about the team's progress.

Qualifications

Here’s what you need:

  • Minimum 2 years of Scrum Master and/or Business Analyst experience

  • Minimum 2 years of Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) experience required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing sprints

  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading web-based software efforts utilizing Agile principles

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $80,000 - $112,100 and information on benefits offered is here.
