Test Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Los Angeles, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Test Engineering Manager in Los Angeles, CA to work closely with client partners, product owners, business and designers, translate functional requirements into high level matrix grids and derive high-level scenarios for the acceptance criteria specified in user stories/ requirements. S/he will perform the following duties: drive selection and decision-making process of environment, test tools, test cases for manual and automation; produce quality assurance metrics and facilitate meetings with business users, program managers, application owners and relevant stakeholders for reporting project delivery progress; engage customers directly about internal processes and continuous improvement initiatives, Project Management audit findings, and customer escalations as appropriate; ensure SOX and HIPAA compliances are adhered during different phases of testing cycles; drive quality testing solutions by planning and constructing test scripts using quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or the clients; develop end-to-end testing strategies; define and track test metrics, including code coverage, quality, and performance; plan and direct quality activities of the team such as regression testing, test automation, functionality, and usability testing; review, approve and strategize estimates and schedules for testing efforts; define Test Plans and entry/exit criteria; develop, update, and maintain quality testing standards and procedures; provide guidance to engineers throughout the project lifecycle; utilize tools such as Jenkins for establishing continuous Integration and Delivery systems, using pipelines, Agile CI/CD toolsets like JIRA, Rally, Confluence, Jenkins, etc.; test automation using Selenium, UI Path and other automation tools; apply US Healthcare Provider and Payer knowledge in the testing solutions delivered; understand and recommend technical aspects of the application solution architecture, defining and building a comprehensive strategy for Automation; optimize processes and methods to deliver quality work;  allocate test resources to application tests in a multi-test environment; act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments; make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with project stakeholders; implement strategic direction set by senior management; and drive defect review and other project related meetings and provide detailed information on issues to development teams, business and client teams.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field. The position also requires 7 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Team Lead, Software Engineer or in a related IT position, including the following professional experience: 7 year of experience in pharmacy system integration for leading quality activities such as developing test strategy and translating system requirements to test scenarios in projects that deal with enterprise pharmacy system and its integration to other legacy systems; 7 years of experience in performing requirements analysis for new projects in the healthcare domain, identifying quality risk areas for these, and translating requirements into testcases; 2 years of experience with Agile/DevOps tools such as Jenkins to schedule automated testcases for continuous run and Confluence for collaboration within an agile delivery model to capture requirements, assign and manage specific tasks and to track dependencies and status; 3 years of experience with Quality Management Tools such as HP QCALM or Jira to manage testcases and defects; 5 years of experience in test project management, financials and budget tracking, Resource Management, stakeholder management and client coordination; 2 years of experience in any one Agile methodology framework such as scrum and SAFe; and 4 years of experience with leading software test teams spanning agile testing, system integration testing, regression testing and compatibility testing.
