Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Philadelphia, PA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Philadelphia, PA to help clients develop and maintain next generation software applications by applying industry best practices across software development and post-production support. S/he will perform the following duties: manage entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) through different phases of project including requirement analysis, software design, development, testing, installation, documentation, and postproduction support of computer programs and systems; responsible for including project implementation with expertise in technologies such as database development using SQL (Structured Query Language), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Oracle applications including Oracle Argus Safety, and web development using Microsoft ASP.NET; responsible for post-production support to troubleshoot critical application problems in consultation with support teams and management; and work in close collaboration with key stakeholders while managing and mitigating risks and present status reports to Accenture and client management teams.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field plus 7 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer, or in a related IT position including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience working with Oracle SQL (Structured Query Language); 7 years of Oracle SQL (Structured Query Language) experience in designing and developing web applications; 5 years if experience of troubleshooting and debugging issues with software systems involving databases and web front-end using Microsoft ASP.NET; 3 years of experience liaising with client counterparts for analyzing requirements, software impact assessment, reporting project status, issues and risks mitigation; 2 years of experience of configuration and enhancements drug safety pharmacovigilance systems (example Oracle Argus Safety), pharmaceutical (drug safety) regulatory reporting, drug and medical term mapping/encoding, and electronic transmission of Individual case safety report (E2B); 2 years of experience in Extensible Markup Language (XML) and import/export using B2B (business to business) gateways.
Telecommuting is permitted for this role. Employee needs to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office. Positions are based in Philadelphia, PA but requires domestic travel up to 20% of an average work week.
