Job Summary:

The mission of the Sales & Pricing Performance (S&PP) team is to empower Accenture to achieve high-performing sales and drive durable profitable growth through sales and pricing processes, insights, tools, training, and operational support.  S&PP works together with the Markets and Services as One Accenture to capture the next waves of growth.  The S&PP sales enablement function positions Accenture to compete, win and grow —by providing end-to-end support to Accenture Leaders and account and deal teams to bring differentiated value to our clients and achieve our bold growth ambitions.

The Sales & Pricing Performance (S&PP) Strategic Sales Advisor role includes the following:  Provide leadership, direction, and support for key programs driving sales excellence and improved sales results within an organization unit or process area, including profitable sales growth (pipeline, win rate, CCI) as well as sales cost efficiency (Business Development/BD spend).  Engage directly with sales leadership and sales operations teams to oversee sales enablement and initiatives that continuously improve processes, tools, practices, and performance metrics – all to drive behaviors which will lead to improved sales performance.  Orchestrate S&PP team member activities across all S&PP Service Areas to help the organization execute its strategy and achieve its performance targets.

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Match business needs of the Market Unit/Client Group to the full breadth of S&PP services, with a critical eye to problem solving.  S&PP Services include but are not limited to: Client Portfolio Management, Account Planning, Relationship & Contact Management, Pipeline Strategy, Outlook & Management, Pricing & Profitability, Sales Performance & Analysis.

  • Partner with relevant group leadership to advise and provide support across S&PP services strategically and proactively

  • Identify and drive sales performance improvements (e.g. win rate, profitability, origination, portfolio optimization, salesforce education, business predictability) by coordinating the efforts of S&PP team members with different roles and specializations

  • Support S&PP Leadership to manage the S&PP team across relevant groups and oversee their activities as needed. Connect with relevant stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the respective team is appropriately meeting them, and further advise based on S&PP insights and learnings

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the S&PP Service Catalog and service model

  • Responsible for the S&PP team supporting a Client Group, Market Unit Service, or other organization of similar size/complexity

  • Interact confidently and build credible relationships with senior leadership by executing firsthand initiatives on origination, qualification, winnability, profitability and education

  • Contribute to S&PP practice consolidation and development by actively participating in Market and Global initiatives

  • Establish, nurture, and manage a team in multiple locations, in-person and/or virtually

  • Create and execute medium to high complexity workplans in conjunction with multiple corporate functions and stakeholders Demonstrate strong understanding of how S&PP sales enablement teams and the entire S&PP Corporate Function fit into the bigger Accenture picture

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • A Minimum of 10 years of experience with progression, which may include:

    • Proven track record in advising leadership and managing teams

    • Competency and experience in core consulting skills such as problem solving, achievement, personal impact, client management

    • Excellent oral and written communications skills

    • A Minimum of 5 years of experience in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

    • Accuracy and attention to detail; Quality assurance and thoroughness

    • Ability to prioritize own workload and manage downstream stakeholders and resources

    • Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work autonomously as a self-starter (see the need before it is known)

    • Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual, global environment

    • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

    • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Accenture sales process and systems, business model

  • Experience with pipeline management and sales performance (pipeline, win rates, CCI), sales target setting, account management, overall financial acumen

  • Familiarity with MMS (salesforce), MMB, Qlik reports

  • Business Management education desirable

  • Sales Life Cycle – ADVANCED

  • Stakeholder Management – EXPERT

  • Program/Action Development – EXPERT

  • Sales Excellence Programs - ADVANCED

  • Change Management – INTERMEDIATE

  • Sales Process and Procedure – ADVANCED

Professional Skills:

  • English language fluency (oral and written)

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $110,376 - $215,500 and information on benefits offered is here.
