Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Arlington, VA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Arlington, VA to translate functional designs into technical specifications such as program flow diagrams. S/He will perform the following duties: implements code changes to meet functional and technical requirements ;provides technical support to the end users for Enterprise Content Management tools (Image Right and OnBase); setups full CI/CD pipelines so that each commit a developer makes will go through standard process of software lifecycle and gets tested well enough before it can make it to the production through Octopus deployment ; writes/updates complex SQL, stores Procedures, Triggers, packages and PowerShell Scripts as per requirement; designs and implements continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment through Jenkins; identifies the technical cause and potential impacts of errors, implement coding or configuration changes, and update documentation for application as code changes are applied; performs deployment and providing post go-live support; provides support and assistance to resolve production defects; and works as a mentor to offshore team to resolve their technical queries and make sure to provide best delivery to the client. Additionally, as a lead s/he will be responsible for performance tracking and reporting for a team of technically skilled individuals with bachelors degree or equivalent. S/He will have responsibility to evaluate work performance and take staffing decisions as appropriate to maintain the overall performance outcome for the team s/he will provide technical leadership.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any). or closely-related field plus 6 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Senior Analyst, Software Engineer or in a related IT position including the following professional experience: 6 years of experience with Net Programming Language to develop application code, technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture using ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC); 4 years of experience in OnBase document management product, specifically in OnBase API integration , OnBase solutions development and developing system documentation; 3 years of experience in Imageright document management product, specifically in Imageright API integration , Imageright solutions development and developing system documentation; 3 years of experience in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, with the ability to setup projects, implement source control, and create complete CI/CD pipelines using modern YAML practices; 4 years of experience using Git and other version control solutions to implement source control strategies, including defining branching and pull request strategies, Implementing and working with one or more package management solutions (Nuget, Maven, NPM, or similar); 4 years of experience working with Microsoft and open-source technologies to deliver cloud-scale deployments; 2 years of experience in Azure platform-as-a-service to develop, design and build applications using at least two of the following cloud infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code technologies such as: ARM templates, Azure Blueprint, PowerShell, or Terraform; 2 years of experience with using each of the following Azure technologies in carrying out solutions for: Azure AD, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor.
