SW/App/Cloud Technology Support Manager (Accenture LLP; Philadelphia, PA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of SW/App/Cloud Technology Support Manager in Philadelphia, PA to provide primary support for database installations, configurations, migrations, upgrades and database deployments in production. S/he will perform the following duties: review and plan the implementation of any database service packs / cumulative updates and hot fix installations; conduct technical recovery tests for databases to practice recovering from various disaster conditions; implement performance monitoring and tuning of database /queries on regular basis ; conduct storage and capacity planning; developing solutions using SQL Server Integration services (SSIS) and upgrading the SSIS packages; develop SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and administration; migration of databases from on – premises to SQL Azure; deployments to windows and SQL Azure; Cloud Azure administration; and automation of regular activities using windows batch file scripting, PowerShell scripting and database scripts.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Team Lead; Software Engineer, or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of experience utilizing SQL Server Database administration, and SQL Server T-SQL development; 3 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Windows and SQL Azure deployments, configuration and administration; 3 years of experience utilizing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Batch file and PowerShell scripting; 3 years of experience with SQL Server database management experience developing/ managing and migrating SQL Server and Azure cloud; and 3 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions that run on Microsoft Azure, including aspects like compute, network, storage, and security.

Telecommuting is permitted for this role; need to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
