At the intersection of content and technology you’ll find Accenture Productions.  As part of Accenture’s CIO Organization, our global staff operates a network of studios and production facilities to deliver cutting-edge content for internal and external clients.  By delivering more than 300 live and recorded events each month, Accenture Productions is among the global leaders in corporate video production.  

JOB DESCRIPTION – Production Assistant

Based in Accenture’s Innovation Hub at One Manhattan West in New York, NY the Production Assistant will help with live and recorded video projects in Accenture Production’s studio.  The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and ready to learn multiple roles to meet the many needs of our corporate customers.  Candidates should also have excellent communication skills, be comfortable working directly with senior leadership and be able to work independently with little supervision.

YOUR ROLE: The opportunity to make an impact will be immediate and will change day-to-day.  Here is a sampling of your responsibilities: 

  • Support day to day operations and maintenance of the production studio

  • Providing video production support in several roles including but not limited to studio management, floor director, camera operator, grip and prompter operator.

As part of a global network of production professionals, the Production Assistant will report to our New York-based Special Events Producer but will work with other team members in Chicago, San Francisco, Prague, Dublin, Bengaluru and New Delhi.   

Work outside of regular business hours and on weekends will be required occasionally. Domestic and international travel may also be required to support the production of events at off-site venues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a film, video production or information technology discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in studio operations and/or video production

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience involving direct customer contact

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in various video production roles and broadcast studio operations

    • Floor director, camera operator, prompter operator, talent manager

  • Technical skills in the following areas:

    • Use of Audio/video switchers, Canon C-300 cameras, studio and location lighting  

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Media Pulse event planning software

  • Video Editing and knowledge of editing platforms Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro X

  • 360 video production and drone operation

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop

  • Experience with Cisco video conference infrastructure

  • Familiarity with the functions of major network infrastructure components

Professional Skills:

  • Ability to maintain high quality work while facing tight deadlines and high-pressure situations 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to understand and work with a culturally diverse team across various geographies. 

  • Detailed-oriented, enthusiastic, self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment. 

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and interact with key executives and customers. 

  • Strong customer service skills and client focus. 

  • Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to closely adhere to defined operational processes and technical standards 

  • Ability to complete assigned, recurring tasks with limited supervision.

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $37,476 - $68,800 and information on benefits offered is here.
