You are: 

As a Product Management Senior Manager specializing in cloud platforms, you will work with Accenture’s clients to help them define their strategy, requirements, priorities, user experience, as well as operational excellence as they focus on moving to cloud based platforms. You will work collaboratively and cross functionally with Product and Engineering organizations to understand their business and technical needs. This role is also responsible for defining the customer portfolio which includes their roadmap, features, priorities, metrics, and pricing models- you are ultimately the overall business owner of the product. You are expected to operate and excel in a fast-paced, ambiguous, customer environment. This role requires excellent judgement and understanding of which opportunities will drive the most strategic value for the customer, both current and future needs.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Creates new and fosters existing relationships working to become the trusted advisor to senior executives across the Product and Engineering organizations of our CMT clients.

Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility with our clients, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable technical and business factors.

Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management and helps determine practice strategy and approach for attainment of both near and long-term practice goals.

Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.

Is expected to act independently to identify opportunities, establish engagement approaches, pricing, and staffing needs for client engagements. Works with senior account leadership to insure these are within the overall strategy and guidelines of the account.

Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Accenture.

Identifies and mentors new talent within Accenture, the Industry X practice, and across the client engagement teams being led.

Basic Qualifications

· Minimum 10 years of experience working in one or more of the following:  

o Product Management experience, preferably with Internet/Cloud experience or related field.

o Experience working with web services, web development frameworks, networking, and API’s.

o Product and Engineering organizational and operating model design and optimization, including change management.

o Engineering lab and test infrastructure assessment, design, implementation and management. Knowledge of latest data center tools, technologies and testing approaches.

o Knowledge of product validation and testing, including shift-left methodologies.

o Regulatory compliance and security – and the implications on the engineering organization and development processes.

o Strong knowledge of converged (HW, SW, and Services) Product Lifecycle Processes and New Product and Service Introductions.

o Use of data and predictive analytics in the product design process.

o Candidate must have a consultative mindset, with extensive experience in pitching ideas and change to senior executive leadership and management of change across large product and engineering organizations.

o Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, industrial management or other similar area.

Preferred Skills

· Consulting industry experience working with product development groups in Internet, cloud, storage, or networking.

· Lean techniques such as value streaming and Kaizen leadership.

· MBA or extensive experience in developing value-based business cases for complex technical transformation programs.

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $180, 000- $205,000.
