Management Consultant (Accenture LLP; New York, NY): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Management Consultant in New York, NY, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Provide industry perspectives and strategic options and recommendations to advise clients decision-making regarding design of their business processes and supporting technology.
  • Design business process and supporting technology, and associated organizational structures, for clients to adopt.
  • Lead and provide guidance and feedback to support development of more junior personnel.
  • Support project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in Management Consulting. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in Management Consulting.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Business process design, including reviewing clients business processes, providing recommendations for enhancements based on leading industry practices, and leading discussions with client executives to agree on roles and responsibilities for completion of the process;
  • Technology architecture design, including identification of new technologies required by the organization to support its business processes, based on industry experience, and development of the design to configure these technologies and enable the business to deliver its objectives;
  • Governance and controls design, including identification of enhancements required for how business processes are managed, including roles and responsibilities, as well as identification of how controls need to be configured to monitor effective and sustainable performance of the process, referencing experience with governance, risk and compliance (GRC) technologies;
  • Communications and change management, including identification of which end-user groups for strategic initiatives need to be communicated with, along with the content of messages and how these messages are to be delivered, as well as monitoring that communications have been effective and led to changes in ways of working; and
  • Project management, including identification and reporting of risks and issues related to project milestones using Microsoft Office and specialist project management software, and proposal of mitigation strategies using industry experience from similar initiatives.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
