The SAP Basis Technical Analyst (E) is responsible for performing day-to-day technical tasks for a project, including all project activities. Duties may span all Practice Areas involved (i.e., Design/Build/Run, Operations Architecture, System Administration, Database, ERP and other technical frameworks, etc.). The Basis Technical Analyst will serve as the individual providing expertise in a specific area and troubleshooting and issue resolution for moderately complex environments.
The Basis Technical Analyst will be a moderately experienced member of the basis technology team who will be responsible for providing support for the technical infrastructure of the SAP solution across all production stacks along with daily system monitoring and issue resolution. This individual will have the opportunities to do some project work.
Provide technical input for all maintenance requests that are entered into project-identified change management.
Perform all activities related to technical maintenance and administration of the SAP environments
Provide DBA and limited OS support as it relates to the SAP Landscape
Provide proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of the SAP Landscape
Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for system activities and ensure change control is followed as necessary
Participate in application updates and upgrade projects
Perform system refreshes
Conduct performance tuning
Participate in on-call support rotation
Handle technology issues and escalate as necessary to expert level help
Execute projects when requested
Implement process improvement measures within the environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Production SAP environment
Minimum of 1 years of RDBMS Management
Minimum of 1 year of Operating System / knowledge of system commands and structures
Minimum of 1 year in a single area or 1 year of experience in at least 2 of the following:
SAP Basis R/3
SAP Basis Netweaver
SAP Basis BW
SAP Basis XI/PI
SAP Basis SCM
SAP ECC 6
Understanding and experience in back-up, recovery
Experience supporting interfaces
Performance Tuning Experience
Understanding of BW, R/3 and CRM integration
Process improvement / including documenting and implementation of processes
Assist in the definition and implementation of process improvement
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and complete task within schedule
Ability to resolve technical issues and escalate issues when appropriate
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $71,172 - $98,399 and information on benefits offered is here.
