You Are:

Accenture Federal is rapidly expanding our cloud and infrastructure practice to help the Federal government meet the challenges of modernizing their technology infrastructure.  Come join us as we begin this journey together.

Are you a dynamic leader who has delivered network infrastructure strategy or large, complex network implementations for federal or commercial clients?  Are you interested in delivering new edge networking technologies to help the government departments and agencies execute its missions?  If so, Accenture Federal is looking for a Cloud and Edge Networking Lead to help define how the government can easily connect to commercial and government clouds and the edge to fulfill its missions in a secure manner. 

The Work:

  • Will partner with Accenture Federal’s cybersecurity and emerging technology practices to define joint offers around strategy, implementation, and operations of federal networks across the entire stack

  • Understand managed services and will partner with our Operations teams to transition implementations into managed services, and how managed services can enable modernization and capability enhancements.

  • Responsible for the training and development of Accenture Federal’s network professional including understanding current capabilities and gaps within the team and recommend training curricula for our people

Qualifications

Here Is What You Need:

  • Bachelors Degree or 7 years of equivalent industry experience

  • Experience in delivering network infrastructure strategies for federal or enterprise clients

  • Experience in delivering large, complex network implementation services for federal or enterprise clients in one of the following: Program management of implementation services, Coaching of team members, Financial oversight of implementation services or Transition of implementation services into operations

  • Experience with developing new service offerings within cloud or infrastructure services for federal or enterprise clients

Bonus Points If:

  • Advanced Degree

  • 10+ years of industry experience

  • Experience with business development for cloud and/or infrastructure services

  • Understanding of current trends in networking and the implication to servicing business or mission needs such as: Software Defined Networking such as Software Defined WAN, Software Defined Branch (wired and wireless (802.11)), and/or the Software Defined Data Center, Network Functions Virtualization, Public and Private 5G services, Cloud Edge services such as Amazon Outposts or Azure Stack, Cloud Interconnectivity such as Amazon DirectConnect, Azure ExpressRoute, Google Dedicated Interconnect, and/or Oracle FastRoute, Automation and cloudification of network services

  • Understanding of how modern cloud and network security enable mission and/or business agility such as, Secure Access Services Edge (SASE), Cloud Access Service Broker (CASB) or Secure Web Gateways

  • Understanding of Federal Network Security Frameworks such as: TIC 3.0, Applicability of federal requirements

  • Understanding of network operations, maintenance, and sustainment for federal government departments and agencies

  • Understanding of native cloud and cloud edge offerings and network connectivity requirements to use native services

  • Knowledge of Private or Public 5G deployments and radio spectrum utilization

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $137,700 - $193,000 and information on benefits offered is here.
