Software Quality Assurance Manager (Accenture LLP; St. Petersburg, FL): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Software Quality Assurance Manager in St. Petersburg, FL to demonstrate the ability to cope with growing complexity and creativity in design by thinking outside the box to determine the best way a test can be performed, and to apply both business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. S/he will perform the following duties: oversee execution of testing efforts; setting and agreeing on test tool strategy; leveraging automation tools; establish testing tools and standards; oversee external testing resources; reviewing the development process to ensure that defect tracking is properly addressed; determining and meeting time estimates and schedules for testing efforts; define Test Plans and entry/exit criteria; develop and maintain quality testing standards and procedures; communicate with customers and vendors as appropriate; coordinate and execute functional and regression testing; responsible for creating near-term goals that adhere to the strategic direction set by senior management;  lead/support Test Leads and Testers on multiple testing teams and manage testing process questions and/or issues for multiple projects/applications; facilitate structured walk-through and peer reviews; plan and assign work to team members, review and approve their deliverables as well as represent the testing team in project meetings and provide commitment to target completion/start dates for milestone tasks.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Test Engineering Analyst Senior or in a related IT position, including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC), across the different phases of the entire Software Delivery Lifecycle which includes plan, analyze, design, build, test and implementation to review requirements or user stories, create and execute test cases, log defects found during execution, and review and approve changes going to production; 5 years of experience in Agile Testing on multiple projects using Scrum methodology, participating in different ceremonies such as Product Increment (PI) or Sprint Planning, Elaboration meetings, Retrospective Meetings to represent the testing team as well as review and approve the sprint and release plans; 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Technology to create or maintain queries using joins of tables with the same database or joins involving more than one database; 5 years of experience in Pegasystems Platform Test Planning and Test Execution to define release plans, test conditions, test scenarios, test scripts or procedures, execute these plans and scripts, and log defects for issues found during testing; 5 years of experience in managing at least 1 testing team that is using either waterfall or agile methodology.

Telecommuting is permitted for this role; must reside within reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
