Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Boston, MA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of  Application Development Manager in Boston, MA to perform data analysis, data profiling and database design for Teradata, DB2, SQL server, AWS-RDS (amazon web service – relational database service) MySQL and to provide technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing. S/he will perform the following duties: identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization; propose and design ETL (extract, transform and load) technical approaches and solutions; analyze source changes and come up with adequate technical specifications for data reporting; develop architecture blueprints and identify transformation techniques and tools which best suits the system with cost and performance requirement; design and implement data ingestion solutions with respect to target systems such as on-premises-RDBMS, cloud RDBMS, on-premises-Datawarehouse and cloud Datawarehouse; perform data migration from on-premise RDBMS to cloud RDBMS; provide solutions to integrate data from various sources (like on-premise RDBMS, cloud- RDBMS, Flat files), ecosystems (Apache HDFS, AWS S3) into an unified data lake; build and provide reporting capabilities and troubleshoot and solve the failures of informatica, Cognos and Teradata jobs; conduct analysis review, code review, and test results review; prepare and execute test plans and perform gap analysis; map client/business requirements and provide customized software solutions involving finalization of product specifications and selection of appropriate techniques; provide production support, identify root cause of production failure and suggest the optimal solution to fix production failure; verify and ensure security compliance; perform Quarterly and Annual audits and publish reports to all the stakeholders; attend huddle/status call with clients; and attend root cause problem solving with clients to resolve the major and minor issues with production and team morale.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 4 years of experience as a Technical Lead, System Analyst or in a related IT position, including the following experience: 4 years of experience in using software engineering practices for Waterfall or Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe leveraging tools such as JIRA to deliver data projects; 4 years of experience in working with ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tools such as Informatica, SAS and reporting tools such as Microsoft SSAS and Cognos to lead and manage deliverables for data analytics solution; 4 years of experience with Database (such as Teradata or Oracle or DB2) design and architecture to support any new data warehouse implementation on Cloud for insurance applications; 4 years of experience in profiling data and defining data models to meet the business requirements of data analytics solution; 4 years of experience in defining, maintaining and monitoring automated batch schedules to refresh Enterprise Data warehouses and reports using scheduling tools like CA Workstation ESP; 2 years of experience in working with Bigdata sources like Apache HDFS using scripting languages - Apache Spark, Python to build analytics reporting solutions for Property and Casualty Insurance applications.
