Overview of North America (NA) Marketing + Communications 


The North America Marketing + Communications team shapes and activates marketing and communications strategies across the marketing lifecycle that fuel growth for Accenture’s $20B+ North American market (United States and Canada).  Its cross-functional team drives category brand positioning in the North American market, curates end-to-end client experiences to drive the local growth agenda, empowers and positions Accenture’s leaders, and engages and inspires the company’s North American people, recruits and alumni. It positions Accenture in the heart of local innovation, business and technology communities and champions programs for equality, inclusion and diversity within Accenture North America and the communities it serves.

At Accenture, Marketing + Communications is responsible for global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; people experience; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; digital marketing; recruitment marketing; thought leadership content development, account-based marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an exceptional Marketing Specialist, Digital Commerce and Sales to join our team to help build and strengthen Accenture Interactive leadership position in the marketplace. Our Marketing + Communications activities are aligned with the Accenture Interactive business strategy to help drive profitable revenue growth. Be part of a global team, helping to identify our market opportunity, establish our positioning and enable our sales enablement efforts.

Provide support in managing and driving the execution of strategic and innovative marketing initiatives and programs for Accenture Interactive, working in close collaboration with marketing colleagues, including but not limited to messaging, collateral, events, digital marketing, thought leadership, and people experience.

Assist in the creation of content and campaigns aligned with the positioning and business objectives.

Team with industry, geography, ecosystem partners, along with other key Accenture groups on the adaption and execution of global campaigns.

Collaborate and interact with agencies partners to assist in the creation of compelling marketing and sales materials.

Track, measure, analysis of marketing results and the production of reports to determine the success of the marketing program.

Responsible for budget management for both external and internal partners.

Monitoring trends and identity market opportunity to help provide insights to new and ongoing marketing campaigns and programs. This information is leveraged to shape new and existing programs.

Ensure the successful development of program(s) in terms of quality, effectiveness, time, and budget. Programs can include advertising, people experience, recruitment marketing, events, and sponsorship, writing and thought leadership.

Analysis and problem solving. Creation of new solutions and adaptation of existing content programs and campaigns.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent

Degree in Marketing, Journalism, or relevant field

Work Experience:  Minimum of 3 years of experience with strong emphasis experience in digital marketing; demonstrated ability in integrated marketing

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in content creation and strategy

Budget tracking experience

Experience in dealing with C-Level executives

Professional Skills:

Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a very fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Global perspective and understanding of business marketplace.

Passion for strategic, well-executed marketing programs

Negotiation, mediation, and conflict management skills to resolve complex or disputed issues

Team player

Ability to work autonomously and independently yet integrate appropriately and work collaboratively with other areas within Marketing + Communications and other areas within Accenture.

Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Excellent oral, written communications and interpersonal skills

Ability to develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues

Broad overall business acumen

Understanding and ability to originate and apply marketing concepts, creativity, and adaptability

Good team building skills, and ability to work with diverse and virtual teams

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to manage and build relationships in a matrix organizational environment with people at all levels

Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $56,484 - $129,800 and information on benefits offered is here.
