Job Description: 

As Accenture Interactive continues to expand our creative team, we are looking for a seasoned, passionate, and driven Experience Design Operations Lead. In this role, you will help to form a new Design Operations team and build the framework to support creative operations at scale. This is a cross-functional role in which you’ll get to work closely with the leadership team and key stakeholders for Accenture Interactive - Design, Build, Communicate and Run.  

 

The Experience Design Operations Lead will serve as a thought leader for operational and organizational excellence on the creative leadership team, helping to build an inclusive and inspiring work environment that enables Accenture Interactive to develop effective digital products and deliver groundbreaking work in the custom mobile and web space. You’ll set the foundation for the discipline and shape the team to support a growing design organization. With this rapid growth, we need to enable Accenture Interactive to deliver on our mission. 

The Work:

  • Lead a new Design Ops team to support Northeast Accenture Interactive 

  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team and other creative leaders to spearhead the ongoing development and improvement of creative operational workflows, refining roadmap planning and developing a comprehensive operating plan with both immediate and long-term goals and milestones 

  • Align cross-functional stakeholders and maintain key relationships with internal and external partners, driving a culture of collaboration across Accenture Interactive Pillars 

  • Scale our creative team’s reach and capacity while developing and implementing new processes for working with internal creative partners and external creative resources 

  • Support the growth and retention of a diverse experience design team. Support the hiring, onboarding, and development practices that propel designers of different backgrounds 

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate and implement operating systems and tools 

  • Provide strategic oversight and support on key initiatives 

  • Oversee planning enablement functionsand delivery functions to drive seamless management, workflow, and resourcing of projects from intake through delivery 

  • Promote an inclusive design approach (which drives inclusive products) 

  • Champion new processes to allow the design team to focus their time on designing and shipping great products and ensure design has a high bar for quality

Qualifications

Here’s what you need:

  • 6+ years of experience in creative operations for brands and/or agencies 

  • 5+ years experience developing and implementing large-scale, cross-functional workflow management systems 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience

Bonus points if:

  • Proven ability to collaborate on scope and budget develop to ensure the necessary creative skills and roles (internal and external) are assigned and allocated at the appropriate levels to ensure the most compelling, effective creative output is delivered 

  • Experience working in design operations, design agencies, or design program management for a mid- to large-size design team 

  • Eager to create scalable, reliable systems for stakeholder to design innovative products 

  • Expert knowledge of production management, workflow, infrastructure, project life cycles and management methodologies 

  • Experience in resource forecasting and production scaling as needed 

  • Experience in helping build a scalable operations structure 

  • Expert knowledge and project management tools 

  • Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the details 

  • Ability to maintain a balanced and positive attitude in stressful situations 

  • Understands a strong operation foundation is at the core of great creative 

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $90,900k - $153,299k and information on benefits offered is here.
