Management Consulting Manager (Accenture LLP; Arlington, VA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Management Consulting Manager in Arlington, VA to adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. S/he will perform the following duties: uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems; determine methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance; oversee small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture; develop world-class business and technology solutions for wholesale credit institutions; participate in operating model assessments people, process, org and client needs assessments; assist with vendor assessment and due diligence of packaged platforms; perform process design, requirements gathering, and functional design as part of wholesale credit systems implementation engagements; serve as a business SME to other project team members; work across the end to end wholesale credit lifecycle spanning sales, origination, fulfillment, servicing, and portfolio management; conduct solutioning workshops with client management; advise upon, lead and work on high impact activities within the systems development lifecycle, and provide advisory work for the IT function itself; engage with customers to develop future payment strategy, technical blueprint and development roadmap; lead business or solution functional lead in payments Related system implementation project; ensure deep understanding of the competition, market trends, and the changing operating and regulatory environment across the region as it relates to cross-border payments innovation, transaction banking and payment & settlement systems.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Consultant, Business Analyst,  Sales Executive (Associate), or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in designing, customizing and implementing vendor payment platforms; 5 years of experience in analyzing transaction banking strategies and advising clients on appropriate strategic opportunities for their markets in global corporate and consumer banking environments; 5 years of experience in leading operational efficiency by designing and implementing effective compliance and risk business functions and technical architecture; 5 years of experience in data management strategies and logical data models for payment system reengineering; 5 years of experience in managing credit or debit card processing for all aspects within the full lifecycle of card payments, including merchant acquiring, card network/scheme management, payment processor management, loyalty programs, retail card issuing and corporate card issuing businesses; 5 years of experience in analyzing payment architecture environments for business stability, market growth/expansion and impacts on consumer experience.

Positions are based in Arlington, VA but requires domestic travel up to 80% of an average work week.
