Job Summary

The Senior Producer, Interactive leads the charge and produces complex interactive, immersive and experiential projects. The Senior Producer, Interactive actively contributes to both strategic and creative discussions and is a mentor to more junior Producers within Droga5.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Work with other disciplines (Account Management, Strategy, Project Management, Creative, UX, Design, Interactive Technology etc.) to determine scopes and project requirements and collaboratively contribute to strategic, creative and design development phases

  • Research trends and best practices to provide ongoing inspiration and references across emerging technologies and new media to supplement creative thinking during creative development and throughout production

  • Use your deep familiarity with emerging technologies, industry and cultural trends and ability to advocate their use by making them feel tangible 

  • Lead by example, mentor, encourage and motivate other junior producers within Droga5

  • Oversee junior producers executing media deliverables 

  • Define resource needs and create project budgets, plans and timelines

  • Partner with Business Affairs and internal legal to cover the legal and contractual aspects of a project and client

  • Manage client and external partner relationships (cost consultants) 

  • Prioritize project tasks and manage independent deliverables of the project team to ensure project is delivered on time and on budget

  • Select, coordinate, negotiate and manage efforts of outside vendors

  • Manage content creation, asset collection and organization

  • Manage quality assurance and testing efforts

  • Forge relationships with internal members, across disciplines and departments

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing producers, producing interactive and experiential projects and coordinating the efforts of cross functional teams 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with clients and negotiating with client’s external partners such as cost consultants

  • Strong understanding and experience in current production approaches and web technologies (e.g. Agile development, responsive design, project management software, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, CMS Platforms etc.) to effectively communicate with vendors and staff and to properly spec out and manage project components

  • Driven by curiosity and desire for ongoing learning as technology advances at a rapid pace with an excellent understanding of the industry, production landscape, and cultural trends as well as a great network of vendors and specialists for various tasks

  • Proven track record of launching cutting-edge interactive and experiential projects

  • Collaborative and team orientated with a motivational and encouraging approach to mentorship while also being self-motivated, driven and entrepreneurial nature and ability to solve for problems and new processes 

  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Excellent written, verbal, time management and communication skills to both creative individuals and clients alike.

  • Flexibility to travel when needed
