Microservices and Light Weight Architecture Manager (Accenture LLP; Bentonville, AR): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Microservices and Light Weight Architecture Manager in Bentonville, AR to design, estimation, development, coding, configuration, exception handling and building automated test suites. He will perform the following duties: work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications; perform detailed analysis and review of technical design specifications of the application in collaboration with the Client SMEs; work with client to gather requirements and suggest business process improvisation to reduce complexity in custom application; work with clients for design, build, unit test and roll out processes as part of Microservices migration; ensure weekly Status reporting to Accenture Management stakeholders and Client stakeholders; and design, development and maintenance of projects using Content Management System; Work with client to gather requirements and develop proof of concepts for new technologies/solutions and suggest business process improvisation to reduce complexity in custom application(s); Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments; Supervise a team of computer programmers to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications; and Conduct project and issue management (status reporting, issue reporting, ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work, and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or in a closely related field, plus 8 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineering Analyst, or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 8 years of experience in the ability to design and develop RESTful services using Microservices architecture (Java and Spring Boot); 5 years of experience in the effective understanding of the differences between monolithic architecture vs microservices; 5 years of experience with Cloud Native development platform for microservices development (Kubernetes); 4 years of experience with Develop and debug producers and consumers in a Kafka based event driven system; 6 years of experience with Design monitoring and alerting systems using Splunk; and 4 years of experience in CICD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery) pipeline automation using Jenkins.
