People in the Corporate Function contribute to the running of Accenture as a high- performance business through specialization within a specific functional area, and grow into internally focused roles by deepening their skills and/or developing new skills within an internal functional area.

Workplace Management and Solutions professionals provide space and service support solutions for all Accenture people and businesses globally, running Accenture’s workplace as a robust business function leveraging Accenture’s business and technology strategies.

Job Summary:

The office environment that Workplace Services supports focuses on the use of audiovisual technologies and collaboration tools for meeting purposes. Evolution in this area has been driven by the goal to reduce travel globally, the need to bring our remote teams together and the heavy use of technology to demonstrate and sell our services to clients. 


Our Chicago team supports approximately 1,700 meetings and events per month on average. Our customers make full use of our in-office AV technology and collaboration tools. This equipment requires maintenance, tracking and troubleshooting. We are seeking a technology professional with deep expertise in audio and video technology and collaboration tools to work in a highly visible, dynamic environment. An ideal candidate would possess strong customer service and communication skills with an aptitude to remain calm and courteous under pressure, along with the ability to share knowledge and train others on the various technology tools in use in our environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AV equipment asset management, maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Provide AV support for meetings as needed

  • Provide one-on-one customer support and assistance with AV technology and collaboration tools as needed

  • Develop and deliver AV and collaboration tools training for other Workplace team members and customers

  • Work with Local Technology Support Team and contracted AV vendors as needed to address technology issues and to schedule necessary equipment maintenance/upgrades

  • Support digital signage content throughout space

  • Maintain AV consumable supplies

  • Provide input to AV budget planning

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a corporate or hoteling environment supporting and troubleshooting various audiovisual technologies including, but not limited to Cyviz, video conferencing equipment, Surface Hubs, Projectors, Video Cameras, Mobile devices, and more

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering training to groups and individuals

  • Minimum of 3 years of vendor management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience with troubleshooting existing and new AV technologies

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Outlook

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (word/excel/PowerPoint)

  • Experience interacting with and communicating to all levels of an organization

  • High level of professionalism

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft collaboration tools and conference room technology

  • Strong presentation/training skills

  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

  • Good organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $39,300 - $71,499 and information on benefits offered is here.
