We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director in our Chicago office with experience concepting, pitching, and delivering UX/UI, branding, and campaign projects. Your background can be in either design or copy, but you must be able to lead all creative aspects of a project and provide guidance and feedback on both disciplines. You must have experience leading integrated teams, building review decks, and presenting work directly to clients. You’ll need to provide big picture visions for opportunities and work, while also managing minute project details across both design and copy. You’ll act as the creative lead on some projects, or with senior creative leadership on others. You must be comfortable collaborating with leaders outside the creative discipline, including strategy, UX, technology, and others.
YOUR ROLE: Associate Creative Director
• Concept, pitch, and deliver UX/UI, branding, and campaign projects
• Lead creative teams across design and copy
• Build review decks and present to clients
• Collaborate with cross-discipline leads to ensure project success
• Get hands-on and deliver work within your discipline when necessary
• Support new business through concepting and deck building
YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 6 years of design or copy experience in an agency setting
• At least 4 years experience leading teams and presenting work to clients
• Online portfolio of creative work demonstrating at least 6 years of projects
• Minimum 6 years in Sketch, InVision and Adobe Creative Suite (for design candidates)
• Minimum 6 years in PowerPoint storytelling and deck building
SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Skills
• More than 8 years of design or copy experience in an agency setting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Design or related field, or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience
• Pure UX skills like information architecture design and user testing
• Additional design skills like illustration, industrial design, or product design
• Interest in side hustles and other creative outlets

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $88,600 - $139,399 and information on benefits offered is here.
