Creative Director, Copy

Locations: Philadelphia, Austin, Raleigh, Miami and other locations

Typical activities

The specific details of the Creative Director, Copy's role do vary, but common activities include:

  • Brainstorming campaign ideas with colleagues

  • Familiarizing yourself with the campaign and target audience, writing copy both long and short form and refining until approved (the copy could be for websites, blogs, web articles, invitations, video scripts etc.)

  • Collaborating with our Creative team to make the work great

  • Interacting with internal marketing clients and other members of the team

  • Maintaining high standards and ensuring only the best work is released to the client

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 12 years creative/copy experience

  • People management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Skills in managing people, projects and resources

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to inspire the creative team to give their best

  • Copy capabilities, both in the digital world and adding a human approach

  • Plenty of creative ideas and an understanding of the clients' vision

  • An awareness of current trends in advertising and design

  • Confidence to work independently or in a group

  • Significant industry experience

  • The ability to keep a cool head and meet deadlines

  • Problem solving skills

  • The ability to think creatively and deliver clever concepts

  • The foresight to put themselves in the shoes of the user

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Work Requirements

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $106,400 - $174,599 and information on benefits offered is here.
