People in the Corporate Function contribute to the running of Accenture as a high- performance business through specialization within a specific functional area, and grow into internally focused roles by deepening their skills and/or developing new skills within an internal functional area.
Finance professionals prepare and interpret financial plans and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations, including internal financial controls, to mitigate risk for the company. Finance professionals may also shape and execute client deals to maximize the use of Accenture's capital and resources, manage cash and/or liaise with the investor community.
The Associate Director of tax data analytics is responsible for developing and executing Accenture’s strategy around better utilization of available technology and better capabilities centered around big data, data manipulation, and report writing that will enable Accenture tax to successfully leverage the power of data analytics in our processes. This person will support the entire tax function in transforming big data contained in our accounting and other systems into usable streamlined information.
Brief Description of Duties:
Ongoing responsibilities may include any of the following:
Evaluate and implement appropriate processes to increase Tax data management and reporting efficiency.
Tax systems management – manage various Tax applications and OneSource products such as OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, Data Query, GAM, and Workpaper.
Support all Tax functions data management requests related to big data.
Provide ad-hoc reporting support to all Tax function requirements
Special project – participate in the execution and completion of various Data management projects.
Responsible for career development and coaching of personnel.
Requires an undergraduate degree or Masters in Accounting, Finance, MIS or related field and 15 years related Tax Technology experience and/or equivalent combination of education and competency.
Must have at least 10 years experience in managing OneSource Tax provision, Global Access Module (GAM) and OneSource Income Tax in version 2014 and above.
Applicable professional certification (CPA) preferred.
Advanced experiences in ASC 740 Tax provision reporting and tax compliance process.
Advanced database knowledge in MS SQL and Oracle database.
Advanced developing skill in both Transact-SQL and PL-SQL.
Advanced knowledge in MS SQL Integration Service (SSIS) and SQL Reporting Service (SSRS).
Advance .NET web development in VB.net and C#.
Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
Experience in SAP for reporting.
Excellent personal communications skills and ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $151,900 - $235,699 and information on benefits offered is here.
