Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture –the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.
The Operations Solution Innovation team plays a pivotal role in the pre-sales journey, working directly with our clients to understand their business problems and define and develop innovative, tangible and deliverable solutions to drive value. The Solution Innovation team works with SMEs and specialists to construct holistic value-based propositions throughout the sales life-cycle – from early origination and business development through to detailed solutioning design and contracting.
You Are:
The North America Solution Innovation team for Sales Services & Operations is looking for a Business Architect Senior Manager to join our growing dedicated team. This position is a critical client-facing role that has deep functional and industry content expertise. Business architects are deal-shapers and storytellers with an emphasis on leveraging value frameworks that unlock superior business outcomes. Business Architects help create the value proposition and clearly articulate its benefits to client and internal stakeholders. The Business Architect operates as a single point of contact or as part of a team, accountable to the Enterprise Architect and/or Deal Team SPOC from qualification to deal closure.
The role will focus on supporting the development of solutions that will deliver seamless customer experiences powered by cloud contact center, conversational AI platforms, and superior human interactions. It is preferred that the candidate has experience in digital omni-channel customer service, customer care, technical support, retentions support, and collections.
The Work:
Plays a critical role that combines research, industry benchmarks and data from Accenture’s value framework and beyond into a value proposition with clear, deliverable business outcomes tailored to client needs
Understands end to end customer journeys and how to enhance end user experiences through customer operations, intelligent sales and marketing levers and tactics
Is part of a greater deal team; participates in market research / due diligence and ultimately translates complex functional, technical and business requirements into cohesive value proposition
Contributes to all client-facing materials and expertly articulates the value proposition to clients and internal teams. Has deep knowledge of the best of Accenture and can pull these contents into the client response / oral presentations
Works with the Enterprise Architect and/or Solution Architects to ensure the value framework model and planned business outcomes are mapped to the solution and in alignment with client expectations
Maintains a keen understanding of marketplace intelligence trends, competition etc. to provide market leading perspectives, emerging trends, tools and techniques that can be effectively utilized to develop and promote business
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures to create compelling value propositions, benchmarks and industry standards and documents for future re-use
Orchestrates the contributions of value SMEs into end to end value propositions for large and/or complex deals as a dedicated role or a combination of providing support to multiple smaller deals simultaneously
Key Deliverables:
Leverages Accenture’s Value Framework to create compelling value propositions, including impactful Headlines by supported/referenceable customer experience data points, values and business outcomes
Journey from Value proposition to solution components and building blocks (a map of how the solution will achieve the value proposition model)
Key differentiators for Accenture from the competition or status quo
Relevant case studies and/or market and industry data points
Client-facing presentation materials to support the value proposition
Support for complex value-creating contracting schedules
Qualifications
Here’s What You Need:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 7 years of experience leading and delivering large-scale customer services operations is required
Minimum of 7 years of experience working on back-end sales functions in a B2B and B2C capacity (order management, order fulfilment, incentive management)
Minimum of 4 years of experience with Solution Planning Deal Shaping
Bonus Points:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with building, measuring and elaborating on business outcomes indicators
Minimum of 7 years of advanced expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience of working within a variety of BPO service areas such as customer services, sales, and technical support
Experience of customer services for some/all key markets
Proven contribution to successful sales opportunities
Ability to write concisely and positively to sell the benefits of a solution
Experience of developing innovative solutions using relevant transformative technologies such as RPA, AI and analytics
Experience with contact centre platforms and technologies
Experience of managing client relationships to develop long term business partnerships
Demonstrable ability to lead and motivate teams
Achievement of high standards of quality
Previous customer engagement and contract negotiation experience

Travel & Time Commitment:
Due to the requirements to meet client timelines and the international nature of our delivery teams, occasional early-morning and late-evening hours may be required
Travel may be required but due to the general trend to virtual experiences, travel may be capped at 25% or less at some point in the future
As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $157,900 - $196,599 and information on benefits offered is here.
