Serves as a Cybersecurity Lead with oversight to obtaining new authorizations, seeking re-authorization for existing systems, and maintaining existing authorizations under the Continuous Monitoring/Continuous ATO approach. Understands DoD RMF guidance, including NIST guidance, DISA policies and STIGs. Plans and coordinates cybersecurity and authorization efforts with client team and all cyber stakeholders. Directs/assists with technical security assessments/validations of required security controls, reviewing security documentation, and evaluating security compliance to DISA STIGs, USCYBERCOM Information Assurance Vulnerability Management notices and other DoD requirements.
• Leverage cybersecurity subject matter expertise to lead a team of 5 ISSOs and ISSEs.
• Leads engagement with the client team to provide status updates, articulate security requirements, and make risk-based security recommendations.
• Provide security engineering and security architecture oversight for system baseline changes.
• Assists with analyzing DISA STIG, Nessus, SCAP, WebInspect, and CCRI vulnerability findings to manage remediation actions to closure.
• Develops and Maintains Plan of Actions and Milestone (POA&M) and Request for Exceptions (RFE) to document non-compliant security controls, and coordinates with System and Application administrators to plan remediation timelines.
• Develops Risk Assessments for new technology implementations and presents analyzed findings to Government ISSM for acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with vulnerability management requirements for maintaining authorizations.
• Oversees vulnerability management review meetings, capturing risk-based prioritized remediation actions, monitors progress, and reports status to Government ISSM.
• Implements and validates closure of non-compliant security controls.
• Translates information security policies and requirements to technical & functional teams.
Here's what you need:
5+ years of experience with one of the following: FedRAMP, FISMA, RMF, DIACAP and NIST SP 800 series and NIST SP 800-53
Experience leading teams and interacting with client leadership
US Citizenship-No Dual Citizenship
IAT Level III Certification: (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CCISO)
Cloud, Database, Networking or Operating System Certifications
Cybersecurity experience with DoD
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $108,300.00 - $154,299.00 and Information on benefits offered is here.
