Responsible for providing Advanced OS and Software Issue Resolution as remote support agents need to be able to triage an ambiguous problem and eventually use the tools available to him/her to resolve the issue. Other responsibilities include Call Logging & Opening a Trouble Ticket based on Severity Level, Call Monitoring & Prioritization Call update / Call Escalations / Tracking each call to Resolution.
Installing & troubleshooting various Desktops, Workstations & Servers.
Installing & troubleshooting various operating systems like Windows 2000 Professional, XP, Vista, Win 7, Win 2K & Win 2K3 server, Ms-Office & MS Outlook.
Knowledge of system optimization for good system performance.
Knowledge of Installing, Configuring, Uninstalling, and Remediating common applications and software.
Knowledge of Active directory.
Knowledge in Registry editing.
Removal of different types of viruses, malicious software’s and spy wares.
Knowledge of different types of Antivirus and Spy ware.
Daily Backup, Windows updates and also looking into remote installation, remote problem solving, installing & configuring network printers.
Using remote connection tools (LMI, PC Anywhere, GoToMyPC, RDP, VNC, TeamViewer, Citrix).
Using ITSM or any other incident management system.
Advanced Malware Removal without reimaging,
PC Optimization/PC Tune-Up,
Triage of Registry issues and ability to resolve,
Triage of Event Viewer error codes and ability to resolve,
Triage of network, intranet and Software installation (~40 apps), Advanced Software Configuration (~40 apps), Advanced Software Support (~40 apps),
Call Logging & Opening a Trouble Ticket based on Severity Level.
Call Monitoring & Prioritization Call update / Call Escalations / Tracking each call to Resolution.
Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced desk side support skills.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Desktop Support.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Remote Computer Diagnostics & Repair (Remote Control – i.e. LogMeIn Rescue, Terminal Services, NetMeeting, VNC).
High School Diploma/GED
Deep knowledge of removal and understanding of operations.
Ability to solve a range of common issues without assistance or research.
Understand products attacking Network and Desktop Consumer Support and experience working with corporate users.
Good written and verbal Communication skills.
Windows XP, Vista, and 7 O/S - Understanding of Registry/Event Viewer/IE/Administrative Tools/Software interact.
Independently work without processes and/or create own processes when necessary.
Ability to solve a range of common issues without assistance or research.
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $54,100 - $91,999 and information on benefits is here
