Job Description:
Strong understanding of Azure concepts and Experience with Azure platforms. Intermediate knowledge on Linux and Windows OS administration activities. Mandatory to have Microsoft Azure certification. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python. Good communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Review of existing architecture and propose improvements. Define platform roadmaps and strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Establish SLA for response/resolution for each type of ticket (user/DB/Schema provisioning, service account access provisioning etc.)
- Clear guidelines on reviewing/approving DB design or providing recommendations to DevOps teams for new projects
- Publish shift schedule for 24/7 support model and a phone number to call a resource on shift Clear breakdown of roles and responsibilities of everyone in the team
- Cost optimization approach and implementation on Snowflake.
- Identify the various aspects of Snowflake compute and storage management.
- Define the administrative tasks performed in support of the Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Apply Snowflake's recommended best practices and considerations for managing load operations and performance.
- Describe data governance in Snowflake, including column-level data security using secure views and dynamic data masking features.
- Explain the data definition language (DDL) operations that work with fundamental database objects.
- Apply strategies for Snowflake performance-tuning.
- Design and develop secure access to objects in Snowflake with Role-based Access Control (RBAC)"
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Azure platforms including a strong understanding of Azure concepts
- Microsoft Azure certification
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Linux and Windows OS Administration activities, scripting in languages such as PowerShell or Python
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Snowflake
- High School diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
