We Are:

Accenture's Video and Collaboration Architecture Team (V&CA) – The VCA team is a dedicated group of Accenture professionals that focus on the videoconferencing, infrastructure, and endpoints. The team provides high-quality, consistent, and seamless support of the end-to-end videoconferencing and other collaboration service including configuration, implementation, security, troubleshooting and engineering of infrastructure.

The Video and Collaboration Architecture Team (VCA) is seeking a Stay Current and Secure (SCS) Video Architect to assist in the testing, evaluation, and design of current video collaboration architectures.  This role will research and analyze current video devices and applications to ensure they are up-to-date and secure.  Duties include updating current architectural standards, defining processes to ensure conformance to these standards, instituting solution-testing criteria, and providing clear and consistent information to the supporting video deployment/operational teams.  This role will focus on professional testing and will be responsible for the development, planning, execution, and communication of the test results within video organization.  A/V, Cyviz, wireless content sharing, or digital signage experience would be ideal with IoT, collaboration, voice, video, Azure, AWS, and IP networking a plus.

You Are:

A Video Collaboration Architect that will work with products such as: audio visual equipment, Cyviz controller environments, Pexip scalable meeting platform, sound control, and videoconferencing endpoints and videoconferencing servers

·       Understanding of network troubleshooting tools and methods

·       Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

·       Solid verbal and written English communication skills

·       Ability to understand and work with a culturally diverse team across various geographies

·       Detailed-oriented, enthusiastic, self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment

·       Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and interact with key executives and customers

·       Experience developing technical documentation

·       Ability to closely adhere to operational processes defined by leadership

·       Ability to complete assigned, recurring tasks with limited supervision

 Key Responsibilities: 

The (SCS) Video Collaboration Architect within the Video and Collaboration Architecture Team will serve in the following primary capacities:

Technical Architect

·       Ensure VCA’s supported devices and applications meet Accenture’s network and security standards

·       Guarantee that the information posted on VCA’s Stay Current and Secure Compliance List is up to date.

·       Drive the testing and evaluation of all vendor recommended software patches and bug fixes.

·       Evaluate posted vendor release notes for relevance to the VCA supported devices and applications in the production environment.

·       Stay informed on vendor end-of-sale & end-of-support announcements to ensure video architecture can plan for replacement technology.

·       Maintain VCA’s published network architecture & configuration standards

·       Undertake technology evaluations and present results and recommendations to Video Architecture Teams.

·       Follow VCA’s test scripts to verify updates to supported infrastructure have no negative affects to the production environment. 

·       Serve as a point of contact for non-operational questions by other teams within the respective Accenture Client Delivery, Network Operations & Services, and Data Centre Operations & Services organizations.

·       Continue to increase skills through projects, self-study, and training opportunities

·       Develop productive relationships with vendor client teams to stay up-to-date on assigned device and applications.

 Video Showcase and Lab

·       Assist with monitoring the security of all video showcase and lab devices.

·       Communicate with showcase users and stakeholders through the testing process.

·       Work with showcase and lab users to develop detailed test plans, procedures, and post-testing documentation. 

·       Perform testing based on established VCA test plans and procedures.   Troubleshoot any issues and communicate status and issues to all stakeholders.

·       Develop deep skill in testing methodology, practice, and tools.

·       Maintain an accurate inventory of showcase and lab resources (S/W, H/W, servers, and other assets). 

·       Maintain showcase and lab software and hardware (licensing, patching, security compliance, maintenance).

·       Work with lab users, stakeholders, and other users to develop and communicate showcase and lab testing schedules.  

·       Plan and execute testing to meet the schedule and communicate changes.

·       Work with stakeholder to maintain a roadmap of showcase and lab technologies in line with developing standards to ensure proper refresh schedule and appropriate budgeting to support the lab goals.

SCS Project Leadership

·       Serve as a technical SME for assigned VCA supported devices and applications.

·       Assist in the development of required project work plans.

·       Assist in the gathering of project and/or engagement requirements.

·       Research appropriate technology and product offerings.

·       Provide technical evaluation of identified product offerings.

·       Provide input into infrastructure solution recommendation.

·       Assist with configuration and implementation of pilot deployments.

·       Assist other video organizations with cost estimates for project and engagement solutions, as required.

Operational Support

·       Participate in tier 4 escalation support for infrastructure solutions within scope of IM&S Network Delivery Architecture.

·       Provide updates to senior leadership on large scale infrastructure problems.

·       Engage vendors in problem resolution as appropriate.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

·       Minimum 1+ year of IT experience

·       Experience with A/V videoconferencing infrastructure support. 

·       Network route/switch (Cisco/Juniper/HP)

·       Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)   

Bonus Points if You Have:

·       Cyviz controller environments

·       Cisco Video Collaboration

·       Microsoft Azure and AWS Administration experience

·       Microsoft Teams Administration experience

·       AMX, Extron, Poly experience  

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $59,832-$98,700 and information on benefits offered is here.
