Risk and Compliance Program Lead Sr. Manager

Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture –the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.


As a Risk and Compliance Program Lead Sr. Manager, you will lead for the risk assessment and control testing program across key business areas across finance functions such as RTR, STP, Payroll, Treasury, and others. Manage team of risk and compliance professionals to ensure performance of risk assessments and control test executions. As the quality lead for the team, ensure that outcomes are delivered to high quality standards

Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for client from Accenture Risk and Compliance team

  • Align with client on scope, serve as escalation point for team

  • Provide and coordinate Subject Matter Advisors (SMA) to support client team

  • Responsible for overall timely and quality execution against deliverables and schedule

  • Confirm team skills and structure align with ongoing program needs and progress

  • Provide direction on development of operational, tactical and strategic reporting and root cause analysis

  • Recommend and implement improvements to risk and compliance processes

  • Responsible for resolving open issues as they arise

  • Summarize results of findings and report to client stake-holders leadership

Job Requirements

  • Role must be US based (Austin, TX)

  • Travel up to 20% or less

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, as necessary, in-order to meet monthly and quarterly deliverable deadlines and to provide extended hour customer service support



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Risk Control knowledge for Finance & Accounting processes

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing client relationships, including managing operations and operational excellence

  • Recommended Certifications, Licenses, etc. CPA or comparable certification

  • Strong Excel Skills with experience in manipulating large sets of data in excel

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate the observations based on compliance, operations, risk model and performance

  • Strong process related skills

  • Organized and detail oriented

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $110,376 - $235,200 and information on benefits offered is here.
