You Are:

You are a proactive, self-motivated, and inspirational leader with deep visual design skills and a comprehensive understanding UX best practices. You have a passion for mission-driven work and products anchored in impactful customer experiences. Your work is consistent, original, and your portfolio demonstrates a breadth of experience. As a Design Director Senior Manager you will work closely with other leaders across the account and with clients, thinking on a higher level about how best to drive the business. Internally, the Design Director Senior Manager is a key contributor to our culture, and a mentor that shapes more designers’ careers.
The Work:
Oversee multiple projects at once, effectively managing time and delegating work
Sets the design direction and then oversees the execution ensuring it is grounded in best practices and industry standards
Is comfortable being hands-on, when necessary, in the creation of visual language and design systems
Deliver concepts and designs to deliver solutions that are innovative and leverage brand style guides, strategic principles, and templates
Forge strong client relationships, and establish client trust
Continually push work beyond the status quo; and motivate and challenge all team members to go above what is expected
Presents and defends solutions to other creatives, UX, developers, account leaders and clients
Prepares flawless deliverables for handoff to developers, producers, and clients
Thrives on interdisciplinary collaboration with other design disciplines, project managers, strategists and development team
Manage staff, both in reviewing work and in guiding their career development and growth
Always looking towards a bigger vision and cultivating the team’s ambition
Qualifications
Here Is What You Need:
Bachelors Degree or 7 years of equivalent industry experience
Experience at a design firm, advertising agency or related industry
Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating smart, brand-building designs and executions
Experience managing individuals and teams of people
Demonstrate exemplary application of wireframing and prototyping principles
Experience with guiding the creation of concept sketches, static wireframes, annotated wireframes, and visual designs, with a focus on bringing data to life in a meaningful and innovative way
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on one or more of the following: XD, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Abstract and/or Mural
Bonus Points If:
Advanced Degree
10+ years of industry experience
Ability to multi-task across multiple pieces of business and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Collaborative and team oriented
Strong interpersonal skills to work internally and with clients
Have a passion for blending creativity, data, and technology
Award-winning or demonstrably impactful work
Experience with data visualization products
Excellent presentation skills and acts as client-facing representative for presentations
Motion graphics or illustration skills is a plus
Experience with emerging digital platforms
Certification in Agile

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $137,700 - $193,000 and information on benefits offered is here.
