A Cyber Security professional and enthusiast, who is seeking opportunities to evolve his/her craft by understanding latest cyber threats and help clients identify intrusion in their respective environments. You are a Level 2 Incident Response Analyst, or L-2 IR Analyst, responsible for reviewing and validating their overall work, as well as supplementing any missing deliverable items.
the Incident Response Analyst will document procedure deficiencies and use findings to develop or enrich existing IR (SOPs) and organize training sessions when needed, prepare external reports for SMEs or IRT Lead. The L-2 IR Analyst understands the Cyber Kill Chain and Cyber Attack Lifecycle, MITRE ATT&CK Framework, including most of the techniques under each tactic. The L-2 IR Analyst is comfortable conducting investigations on a windows and/or Linux environment and investigating forensic artifacts. The Analyst is comfortable with picking the correct Indicators of Compromise during an incident response for the investigation and has a more detailed understanding of at least one host-based forensics skill and malware analysis skill.
Here's what you need:
2+ years' experience with Splunk
2+ years' of Incident Response Operations experience
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Bonus points if you have:
Forensic Analysis experience
Working knowledge of SIEM solutions and incident management solutions
Network Intrusion Detection Operations
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
