Title: Monitoring Delivery Engineer

An innovator and problem-solver. You’re an expert when it comes to protecting on-prem and cloud-based systems. And you can configure and deploy any security tool that comes across your desk. While staying on your toes, you design customized and cutting-edge solutions. You know security solutioning requires knowledge of infrastructure, trusted applications, continuous monitoring proper implementation of security appliances and virtual machines.  You understand who or what is connecting to the network and how to properly implement security frameworks such as Access Control and Zero Trust.

The work:

Working under the direction of the Network Operations Manager/Network Architect; this position requires excellent technical, customer service, and organizational skills to support network operations for customer connections, administrative personnel, and staff.  This position requires the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments. 

Duties will include:

  • Installations, debugging, maintenance, upgrades, and general support for Routers, L2 and L3 Switches, Firewalls, WAN Accelerators, Load balancers, etc.

  • Performing a wide range of network administration duties including installations, debugging, maintenance, upgrades, and general support for Cisco, Juniper, HP, Nortel, and Extreme network equipment.

  • Evaluate, test, and deploy all software and hardware upgrades to the networking infrastructure.

  • Assist in the configuration and deployment of core and peripheral network devices, which will require continuous learning of new devices.



Qualifications

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum 3 years of cyber and/or IT experience

  • Bachelor's Degree OR an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Hands on experience operating and/or maintaining an enterprise monitoring tool ( i.e. HP SiteScope, HP Operations Manager, VRealize, SolarWinds, Zenoss, NetScout, Riverbed, Nagios, New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace)

Bonus Points if you have:

Familiarity with the NIST 800, FedRAMP, Risk Management Framework, Security Controls, and the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) operating standards and applicable guidelines

  • You have one or more of the following certifications:

    • Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

    • Networking (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper)

    • Security Tools (Splunk, Carbon Black, Cylance, McAfee, Tenable, FireEye, CrowdStrike, ELK, Forescout)

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $65,200 - $87,800 and information on benefits offered is here.
