Job Description:

Part of the Operations outsourcing business, Accenture transitions services from incumbent vendors or client’s in-house teams, often incorporating a significant amount of change – system, process and retained organization.  The Outsourcing Transition Senior Manager is responsible for directing all service transition and integration activities, including staffing and training delivery teams, facilitating technology deployment, and implementing processes, organization, and operating infrastructures to enable the new outsourcing engagement. This person will have responsibility for managing all transition workstreams, and will be accountable for the success, effectiveness, and on-time delivery of all the applicable deliverables within those workstreams.

The Outsourcing Transition Senior Manager is a ‘doer’ with a flair for sales, a strong understanding of shared services and business process outsourcing and has proven project execution experience working with clients during transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

The Outsourcing Transition Senior Manager leads both architecting and execution of large transition programs.  This person must be able to travel 75% of the time when needed.

Transition Architect:

  • Leads development of transition solution during sales pursuits, including detailed designs of all transition work streams according to the delivery solution blueprint

  • Reviews cost models and suggests changes, if necessary, to validate the cost and benefit of the transition solution

  • Presents transition solution and capabilities of service transition and its value during client orals

  • Manages business development spend for transition resources during solutioning phase

  • Manages internal/external client relationships during various stages of the sales process

Transition Lead:

  • Manages the execution of all work streams of a service or personnel transition program

  • Manages transition resources and costs

  • Manages overall internal/external client relationships throughout the transition phase

  • Partners with change management team to manage and track overall change journey, including business readiness across client impacted populations arising from the outsourcing

  • Supports the facilitation of client user adoption to the new service delivery model

  • Contributes to transition capabilities to include method & asset development, knowledge capital harvesting and participation in transition improvement initiatives

  • Allocates resources & responsibilities and provides verbal and written feedback to direct reports

  • Leads regional and/or global outsourcing initiatives to improve and grow the practice

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum 5 years project or program management experience

  • Minimum 5 years client service delivery or outsourcing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a global project team

  • Microsoft Office suite proficient including MS Project

  • Client stakeholder management and client facing experience

  • Preferably certified in PMP or PRINCE2

  • Experience in working closely with offshore delivery and support teams

  • Experience in working within a Service Management environment

  • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands effectively

  • Advanced analytical skills and problem-solving ability 

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $110,376 - $235,200 and information on benefits offered is here.
