A service-oriented Database Administrator responsible for providing DBA support services including development, testing and production environment in support of federal client. You have a high sense of ownership of the problems and requests assigned, focus on managing and resolving issues. This role requires a solid DBA experience in order to perform review analysis of stored procedures or views created or modified during development life cycle and to provide performance tuning recommendations as needed.
Support the Database Administration functions of the system
Design and implement modifications or enhancements to forms, menus, and reports
Implement processes for data management including data standardization and cleansing initiatives as part of the overall design, development, fielding, and sustainment of a system
Execute advanced database concepts, practices, and procedures
Here's what you need:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3 years professional experience
- Experience as Database Administrator in an Oracle environment.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Postgres Database Administrator in a Linux environment
- SQL Server database administration
- Oracle 12c databases
- Oracle Data Guard
- Database backup and recovery
- Linux shell scripting
- Cron scheduling
- Amazon Web Services
- US Citizenship, no dual citizenship
