Title: Database Engineer

The Database Engineer who is responsible for creating and maintaining all databases required for development, testing, and production usage for a software application.
You will work closely with the development teams to provide any database support with the design, development and deployment phase of the application including data migration, data replication, data security, data analytics, dashboarding, Unix/SQL scripting, troubleshooting, and Operations & Maintenance activities in a DevSecOps environments. Database and Data related technologies include Oracle, PostgreSQL, mySQL along with ElasticSearch Index in AWS and Datacenter environments.
Here’s what you need:
- Minimum of 15 years of hands-on information technology implementation experience with databases and reporting
- Minimum of 10+ years of combined experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and mySQL
- Minimum of 5+ year of experience within AWS environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science or equivalent
Bonus points if:
- Knowledge in Database, core applications and web technologies
- Experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), ElasticSearch, Kibana or Jenkins
- Self-Motivating and capable of working independently
- Good written and communication skills
- Citizenship Requirements –US Citizen only.
