Application Development Senior Manager – Austin, TX  

 
Job Description:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Senior Manager in Austin, TX to manage design and development of software services and interfaces. S/he will perform the following duties: ensure technical team delivers high quality application interface services to external vendors; ensure that direct reports follow all documented policies and procedures; handle Scope Management; oversee the estimation of work packages; develop project plan, schedule & budget; identify risk, issues and document mitigation plans; identify and implement process improvements across modules; deliver products on time and within budget; hold technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions/challenges regarding projects; review work produced by development team and ensure code meets company standards; determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members; research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and assess cost/benefit analysis; recruit, train, and coach employees, and communicate job expectations and performance appraisals. Telecommuting is permitted.
 
 


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 7 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Associate Manager, Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a related IT position, including the following professional experience: 7 years of experience guiding applications/projects through full development lifecycle, including oversight of financials/project budget, stakeholders, team, communication, and change management; 5 years of experience managing software development using .NET, C#, and SQL Server; 5 years of experience performing Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) integration and delivery; and 5 years of experience utilizing standard MMIS data structures, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes.
