Workday Application Development Manager – Los Angeles, CA 

 
Job Description:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Workday Application Development Manager in Los Angeles, CA to manage projects and support activities for HR data warehouse and associated reports. S/he will perform the following duties: lead development teams and work with business to gather requirements for enterprise and departmental business intelligence, Framework Management and reporting solutions in the IBM Cognos 10/11 Business Intelligence and Informatica PowerCenter software suites; oversee the preparation of all designs and code for various PowerCenter mapping and Cognos reporting objects to ensure compliance to all best business practices in industry; provide technical and business knowledge support to the team; review and approve test plans to ensure successful delivery of a project; analyze all projects and prepare strategies for same and provide support to all Cognos & Informatica applications; schedule and ensure compliance to all design code and test activities, prepare plans for same and maintain required framework for all processes; perform troubleshooting on all Cognos and PowerCenter and related helpdesk tickets and resolve all queries for content and prepare standard reports and ensure accuracy of same; maintain security of all PowerCenter applications across the portfolio.
 
 


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a , Software Engineer or in a related IT position. Including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience with IBM Cognos BI developing and maintaining complex BI reports, multi-dimensional and relational framework manager models, transformer models, and dashboards for multiple segments across the client; 5 years of experience with IBM DB2 designing and maintaining physical data models and performance optimization that support cross-functional analytical/reporting needs of the client; 5 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter designing, developing and maintaining enterprise data warehousing solutions that integrate data from cross-functional systems, including data profiling and data cleansing; 5 years of  experience with Unix/Linux Shell Scripting creating custom solutions for reporting/analytics designing, developing and maintaining data sources, job schedules and connectivity and performing integrated platform testing and scripting; 4 years of experience with Workday HCM designing and developing financial reporting source code.
