This role sits within Accenture CIO’s Security & Identity tower and is a part of CIO’s Security Compliance service which is responsible for ensuring that applications, networks, and platforms adhere to Accenture security requirements and promote a culture of security throughout CIO. Joining the Security & Identity organization means that you’ll be a part of a community of experienced professionals who value technical and analytical skills and value your growth as a member of our team through access to training on the latest threats facing our organization and the technologies we’re deploying to combat them.
This role will be a key member of the security compliance team and will have responsibility in the following areas:
- Work directly with Security Compliance lead on key security initiatives including the development of security analytics strategies and process automations as well as the implementation of new security tools and processes across the organization
- Serve as the lead stakeholder for CIO’s compliance reporting and vulnerability management tools
- Analyze vulnerability data to drive preventative controls for application and infrastructure teams
- Assist in the overall management of CIO’s security posture
A CIO Specialist works in key roles within a CIO initiative or the operations support effort for CIO’s existing application portfolio, infrastructure and architecture. CIO Specialists are expected to utilize Project and Operations tools and processes depending on initiative or operations role, contribute to key components of the overall work effort, provide some supervisory guidance, help drive work planning activities, help measure progress, resolve core issues or follow-ups, influence content and ensure quality.
CIO Specialists are typically sourced from one the following capability areas (talent segments):
-Software Engineering -Business & Technology Integration
-Technology Architecture -Infrastructure
-Program Project & Service Management
-Management Consulting - Human Performance
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security compliance or similar relevant experience
- Minimum of 1 years of experience with Microsoft Office products (Strong Excel skills desired)
- Security certifications: Security +, CRISC or equivalent
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
- Experience analyzing security vulnerability data
- Previous experience defining requirements for complex projects
- Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $61,600 - $97,199 and information on benefits offered is here.
