Job Description

A successful Salesforce Industries Technical Architect candidate will be able to design technical architecture solutions that contain Salesforce Industries products but span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems.  They will also manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale, articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture.  The Salesforce Industries Technical Architect will have support from the a global delivery capability as well as from local support resources provided by the global team.  We love to talk with candidates who have a long-term goal of being a Salesforce Technical Architect.  

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Typical Day Snapshot – Technical Architect

  • Collaborate with Functional team to determine how best to implement Salesforce Industries solutions
  • Solution components that are within the Salesforce product suite and outside of it, including:
    • Security
    • Integration
    • Migration
  • Play TA role on Salesforce Industries projects: typically, part-time on more than 1 project at a time
  • Manage and develop a team of more junior technical Salesforce industries architects/ developers
  • Sales Support: Help scope, solution, and estimate sales opportunities alongside a delivery lead. Assist in SOW creation, etc.
  • Practice Development: Mentor resources, take on leadership roles to expand overall practice capabilities, etc.   

 



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in technology implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects. 
  • Minimum of 4 years of technical experience on the Salesforce.com platform. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.  
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with a Salesforce Industries (or previously Vlocity) product.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience

Preferred Skills

  • Strong background in Cloud Computing solutions – cloud computing strategy, systems design, implementation and management
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team
    • Experience with Communications, Healthcare or Financial Services industries (preferred)
