Platform Architect

Basic Qualifications:

·         10+ years of experience in design, hands-on development of distributed software applications and cloud platforms

·         Hands on Cloud Application Design and Architecture build experience

·         Experience in design of micro service-based solutions

·         Strong collaboration, communication, stakeholder management skills

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If an Associate’s degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience.

Other Qualifications Needed:

·         Experience in messaging and integration technologies and components, JMS, RabbitMQ, SQS, AMQP

·         Deep background in Full Stack, languages like Java, Python, C#, or Go Lang

·         Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service experience in PaaS, e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, CloudFoundry using at least one of the following platforms: AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud

·         Experience in one or multiple big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hive/HDFS, Kafka, NiFi)

·         Experience in or multiple machine Learning and/or Data Analytics platforms (Splunk, Pivotal Analytics, Kognito Analytics)

·         API Managers/Gateways experience
