Application Development Associate Manager – Austin, TX

Job Description:

Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Associate Manager in Austin, TX to manage the Peoplesoft Enterprise Learning Management and HCM implementation team. He will perform the following duties: facilitate all team project, test, and defect meetings; manage the Integrated Master Schedule to ensure the project stays on track and on budget; track deliverable reviews and approvals; coordinate and provide status  to client on all ELM work units throughout the System Development Life Cycle; communicate overall status to the client; ensures the team follows all quality assurance processes; review estimates and estimating assumptions for the team’s schedule, effort, and cost using established estimating models, best practices, and prior experience; ensure each project release is adequately tested, and the capacity plan and resource issues are properly addressed; obtain buy-in from senior management for all key project plans, commitments, and changes, including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, and scope changes; work with developers, client functional designers and architects to make sure the configuration and custom components meet application requirements; participates in transitions of applications or technical architecture components to the testers; and participate in Knowledge Transfer activities to the Application Outsourcing team.

 


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field plus 4 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Programmer, or related in a IT position. This position also requires the following experience: 2 years of experience implementing ELM and HCM with public service entities, in a multi-tenant setting with various unions and time administration policies; 2 years of experience  implementing PeopleSoft ELM and HCM, performing Requirements Analysis, design, configuration, build, test, and deployment activities; 4 years of experience performing upgrade analysis, estimating, and implementation of PeopleSoft application and Tools upgrades; 4 years of experience performing technical impact analysis and development using PeopleTools,  SQR, Application Engine, BI Publisher, and using Accenture upgrade assets; and 4 years of experience utilizing Rational Tool Suite, Phire,  PeopleTools, and Katalon to support development and testing efforts.
