Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Agile Application Development Manager in Los Angeles, CA to investigate and diagnose production incidents and problems, analyze their impact and identify the resolution of error. S/he will perform the following duties: perform Control-M Batch job support tasks; engage application SMEs, owners and appropriate support teams as necessary for speedy resolution of functional and technical issues; lead productive meetings with client and Accenture development team; coordinate completion of code change deliverables within the offshore and onshore teams; conduct work planning of team’s tasks through Sprint activity; perform forecast of hours for the coding months based on allocated software development tasks; work on strategy to fulfill annual hours and budget requirement of the team and reviews on monthly basis; plan the software lifecycle milestones with project stakeholders and manage the completion of activities to fulfill the committed timeline; work closely with the client onsite for priority work items; allocate resources to specific tasks, assign day to day activity; manage risks and issues and escalate to project and client leadership in a timely manner; handle timesheet review and approval before invoices are submitted to the client.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Development Associate Manager, IT Team Lead, Software Engineer, or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in software development or programming with Java, SQL and Shell Scripting; 5 years of experience in overseeing a team, planning and managing their day-to-day tasks; 3 years of experience in overseeing Agile Scrum teams in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) set up; 2 years of experience in leading Agile Releases in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) set up; 3 years of experience in overseeing deployment activities of packaged and custom developed software.
