Application Development Manager – Houston, TX


Job Description:

Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Houston, TX to perform complex mathematical and statistical models for forecasts, system design, algorithm modelling and analysis. S/he will perform the following duties: develop side-by-side extensibility for new apps utilizing SCP (Secure Copy Protocol) services; integrate on premise and cloud solutions to deliver hybrid cloud application; design and implement new solutions using SAP's latest Cloud and Platform services such as the following: SCP API, SCP Workflows, SCP Business Rules, HCI, SAP API Business Hub; work with the SAP team to focus on design, implementation, on-going operations and maintenance of SAP applications and technology; Finance business functions that includes accounts payable, account receivable, taxation, international, company financial service and other;  Supply Chain business functions that include product life cycle, new product introduction, sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and others; Customer and Sales Operations business functions that includes leads, opportunities, contracts, order management, order promising, delivery processing, shipping, billing, trade compliance and others; Define systems strategy, develop systems requirements, design and prototype, test, train, define support procedures and implement practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.


This position requires international travel of approximately 80% of an average work week.


Basic Qualifications:

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or a related field plus 6 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in a related IT position. Including the following professional experience: 4 years of experience building analytical reporting templates with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) on HANA Excel modules; 4 years of experience in  analyzing and creating HCI (HANA Cloud Integration) and ABAP  (Advanced Business Application Programming) programs to facilitate business process automation transition; 3 years of experience in designing and configuring specifications of the solution and comparing it to technical limitations of HANA based SAP IBP software application and map to industry business requirement for Sales & Operations, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Long-term planning and Operational planning; 3 years of experience in deploying and overseeing end-to-end project implementation life cycle including Blueprinting and Documentation of Application Data Model; 3 years of experience in designing business applications using software such as SAP APO, or similar programing languages to provide an industry-benchmark solution.
