Organization: Accenture Federal Services
Location: Washington, DC 

The Automation Technical Architect will work closely with client technical SMEs, Project Manager & Process Architect in designing CoE capabilities. The Technical Architect is also the primary leader of the developers and testers teams and guides those resources through the Delivery Management process
They will recommend and drive a Process Automation strategy in support of the vision and mission. They will also recommend and drive a Process Automation methodology that achieves the business case in an optimal way. This person will be responsible for supporting the Lead Developer in automation process design, liaising with process analysts, Business Unit stakeholders, etc. on RPA capabilities. The Technical Architect will manage execution of Pre-Discovery and Discovery of prioritized automation processes; engaging with COE leadership and business SMEs for data gathering and discovery documentation – developing standards and monitoring compliance with those standards. They will assess technical feasibility of process automation opportunities, and estimate impact of process automation. They will also work with Lead Developers to define, design, and document automated process. This person will act as liaison between business units, leadership, and RPA delivery teams to ensure the right level of details are captured to facilitate development. The Technical Architect will assist the business in completing the necessary project documentation required in order to assess an automation opportunity. This person will analyze, understand and document the business processes in detail. They will liaise with process owners and SMEs in order to gain a detailed understanding of processes to be automated. This person will understand and document the businesses requirements for automation required by the developers for automation and ensure the relevant SMEs and process owners input, and review the Automation Design Document. This person will create the test conditions for validation test and expected results for UAT/ Final Test. Lastly, the Technical Architect will update the Automation Design Document as required throughout the lifecycle of the project. 


Qualifications

Here's what you need:
  • Experience with RPA software such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere or BluePrism
  • Experience in scoping business requirements, identifying scope change and system impacts 
  • Progressive work experience in business analysis
  • Experience in documenting requirements using Use Cases, Entity Relationship Diagrams, Process Decomposition Diagrams and Workflows
  • U.S. Citizenship Required; No Dual Citizens 
Bonus Points:
  • Understanding of the use of Structured Analysis and Techniques to determine business requirements, assumptions and constraints
  • Experience leading RPA engagements as a technical or solutions architect
  • Certified UiPath Solutions Architect
  • Knowledge of and experience with API based integrations
  • Financial Services experience
